My iphone had 72% charge. i made a call n locked the keypad by pressing the wake up button. noe its not turning on. nor its responsing to charge or anything. wat to do?

first hold power button and circle button together for at least 10secs or until apple logo appears. If that doesnt work plug your phone in to charge and then try the two buttons if you get a battery logo flashing then let go of the buttons and leave your phone on charge for at least 30mins, if that doesnt work load up your comp with updated itunes on and hold down the circle button on the phone while plugging into the comp you should get a message on the comp saying the phone is in recovery mode, release the button then you will need to restore your phone from then either from a backup or as new :D

Hope this helps! Please leave feedback

P.s if you need anymore help just message back :D

Hi, i have brand new Dell - Inspirion 1545, i have install Win7 enterprise, get drivers and comp. is working ok. but when i shut down and not use laptop for hour or two, next time when i press power...

Shutting your laptop off like that can do damage to the hard drive over time, so if you need to take it back to the store you bought it from later on, you may want to leave that part out. (They'll always find ways to make it your fault your computer isn't working so don't make it easy for them)
This could be an easy fix, though. Disconnect the power source and remove the battery, and then press the power button for 30 seconds. This is a default reset on many newer laptops. After that, put the battery back in, plug the power to the wall and you should be set.
One thing I should also mention:
Several Dell models (and a few Toshiba, for that matter), have been giving these same symptoms that require a lot more than pressing a power button, so be sure you know where your warranty information is. If anyone aside from a certified professional opens it up, the warranty is voided, which the salesmen and techhies where you bought it will be more than happy to tell you

Very briefly touch a metal-tip screwdriver between these 2 pins.
If the computer powers-on, you've found the "power" connector.

My iphone 3gs has hung at the apple logo. reset, draining battery, connecting to i tunes etc does not help. it just doesnt go beyond the apple logo

Make sure you have the latest version of itunes on your comp & power up comp & itunes

-power off your phone
-hold down the home button (around 6secs) then insert USB cable while still holding button then release button when cable plugged in
-itunes will then bring up message saying that the phone has been detected in recovery mode
- it will then give you choice to restore your iphone
-continue with this choice & restore your phone, you can either restore as a new phone (like new) or from a back up (all your stuff back), try from your back up first, if this doesnt work and you go back to square one then do this process again only this time restore your iphone as new and resync your info later on.

Hope this helps!!

1tb simpledrive will beep, click, but not work. No joy.

power source jack/plug might be the problem if it has been bumped about or if it was powered up and running before plugging in to the comp.....
i had the problem of my 1tb ext/hdd no longer being recognized because when i plugged it into my comp, the jack was live and not switched of at the wall. the only way i got it to work was to pull it out of the casing and switched it with the 320 ext/hdd i have as they are they same brand..just diff sizes. going to put the 320 into comp to become master drive as the internal is a measly 40g. i think i had burned out the connector pins on the power jack when it was plugged in live. i hope this is an idea for you to try.

Comp not firing up

Something may be shorting out the board. Try taking the motherboard out and turning it on without the case. Just put the motherboard and power supply on a non-static surface. A box works well. Then use a flathead screw driver to temporary "jump" the 2 power switch pins for the front panel connection (as you wont be turning it on while inside the case).

If that doesnt work, then replace power supply. You could also take one out of another working computer just to test.

Emachines problem... PSU works but comp doesnt turn on

Hi, Did you just add the second CD? If you did you may need the driver for the mother board? Make sure the power cord for the cd has voltage plug it into the DVD drive also check the cable make sure red stripe is on the correct side of drive. You can download the driver at User guide is there as well. The start button has a pair of wires with a small pin connector on it. This will connect to the motherboard if there is a 3 pin set you might try moving to the other pin. The new power supply also has to provide a start voltage? Your power supply may not be compatible or it may put the voltage on the third pin.
