Screen / graphic card (I think)

Hi
when I drag windows opened across my screen or just scroll down on an open webpage the screen does not move smoothly but rather moves bit by bit (like when we were watching movies with very slow connection many years ago the images would not move smoothly but rather as if they moved then paused then moved again)... i hope that makes sense :)

thank you very much for your help

Could be spyware or just needs cleaned up. Try this and let me know if it helps. Hard to figure out what you are telling me.

Turn the system restore off. System restore keeps everything in restore. Meaning......... If you have spyware or a virus, it will stay in your system. Run Spybot S&D (This program is free and is better than using msconfig as long as you go through the settings and change everything to the highest settings.) Then do the same with Adaware 2008 (sounds stupid to use 2 things for spyware, but one catches what the other one does not.). I have links on my website (tandnfamilyelectronics-online.com). These links go directly to the download so you will not get the run around. You would do good to try a program called Window Washer (FREE WINDOW WASHER DOWNLOAD). This is a great program that completely cleans anything in your computer that you do not need. It will not clean out anything that you have to have. I have used this for years to clean out my customers computers and have cleaned as much as 3 gigs of trash out. If you contact me I will give you some tools that I have for free that will do a great job on your computer. I have them ready to download and I will give you the link. (dean@tandnfamilyelectronics-online.com)

Send me the complete specs of your system and I can help you more. I hope that this helps you. There is no reason the really buy a program for spyware when there are free things to use that work great. Free AVG is a great Antivirus and yes it is also free. It will check your e-mail coming and going. It will also let your friends now that the E-mail does not have a virus. It also has a spyware program that is free. This day and time with all of the spyware out on the net you can never have too many programs for spyware. I would not run all of them at the same time though. Make sure that you do not use your computer during any scan. Defrag is also something to do after you do everything else. Some people will tell you that should not reload your computer. If nothing seems to work then sometimes that is the only good way to get it repaired right. Most of the programs that come pre-installed on a store bought computer is useless and most are even trail software that causes problems when they expire. Let me know if this helps at all. Please rate me if it helps.

If this did not help for everything, you can upgrade the memory.

Can you please let me know if this solved your problem?

Hi, I am having trouble with my computer screen running Windows 7. Half of the screen stops functioning or displaying.

Could be a potential driver issue. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Don't get it from HPs site, but rather the vendors site (ATI, nVidia).

AT THE TIME OF MY MOUSE SCROLLING MY VIWED CONTEN IS MOVING STEP BY STEP.

I think that's the way it's supposed to be. If you want it to move smooth you have to press down the mouse wheel and drag then mouse into thedesired direction.
At least it's like that on Windows 7.

Download my digital picture from SD card into a folder

HI

one way of doing it is

make a new folder on you desktop right click it and rename it then call it what you want it to be

then open that folder go up to the top right hand side of it and click onto the square next to the red x which closes down the folder
this should open the folder in about half a box size

go to the long verticle side of that box click on it and drag to make it about half of the screen size
allowing for another box to be place on the desktop as well

then plug your sd card into laptop slot
if computer reconizes it it should either open it or give you a box with option to view
when open go to the pictures starting from the top left place mouse over the picture
left click holding it down drag it down and across the screen until all pictures are highlighted
then just drag them over to the new folder that you made and renamed

they should then be in the new folder

I upgrade my sony vaio pcg-k35 to vista but the screen does not fit the screen what graphic or video driver do i use pls.. help me with my problem.. ihave downloaded all the drivers for vista compatability...

go to the following website, scroll down and download mobility modder. http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php you will also need to download the lates catalyst software from ati don't worry that it isn't for your graphics card because mobility modder will change the files. finally follow all the instructions on the dh modder webpage where you downloaded it from and you can't go wrong. i used to have a sony vaio and i couldn't beleive how sony supports their customers after sale. they haven't and probably never will release a driver for these graphics cards. Shame on Sony!

    Dual monitor setup

Assuming you are using Windows Vista:

All you have to do is connect your laptop to a monitor via a VGA port (located on either the side or at the back of your laptop - it's the port with about 15 holes).

Once connected , you will need to configure how your 2nd monitor will function - as an extended or duplicate monitor. To set this you will need to go to Display Settings > and select your option.
