How can I get my radio working in my 2002 Honda Civic? It says to enter a code but where can I find this code? It's a used car and I do not have the owners manual.

You need to call the Honda dealer. they will most likely give you a number for support. You will most likely have to take out your radio and give them the serial number, then they usually ask you to fax them your drivers license and registration. Then they will give you a code. I had to do that with my acura and im assuming its the same for honda,

I have a 2011 honda civic lx 4-door sedan. I took the battery our to install new headlights. When I was done I hooked the battery back up & turned the ignition & the radio control panel said I...

Check the Honda Service History book the first page says 'Pre-Delivery Inspection' it should have the 4 digit pin written there..If you have it, disconnect the battery again, should reset and enter the code. If you dont have this, the dealer is the only that has the code. Im not sure what they will charge........but they dont call them stealerships for nothing. Good luck

I need code for estereo HONDA CIVIC EX MODEL 99,

HONDA do not make radios .They only affix their badge ontoradios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc). First try https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ If the above suggestion is not successful ,then unfortunately the code will not be availablefor free (or cheap ) from anywhere onthe Internet. Will only be available from your Main HONDA Dealer or a Radio DecodingService

I changed the battery in my 2006 Honda Civic, last night and now my radio is not working

When you disconnect the power from the radio like this it needs a security code to get it working again as the radio automatically locks up when the power is removed as an antitheft measure. These codes are individual to the radio itself and you will need to contact your local Honda Dealer with the VIN number of the car and proof of owndership in order to get the code.

Luckily Honda are the only manufacturer that I know of that will provide the code to you for free. You can also get this code online direct from Honda if you are already registered in their database as the owner of the car. For more information on how to do it this way see this FixYa Tip.

Again it is free to do it this way.

Hope it helps. Please do take a moment to leave a vote for the solution.

The radio on my 2005 honda civic special edition keeps flashing and reads CODE !! is there a simple solution to this ???

Yes. The radio is simply asking for a security code. First check your service documentation for a credit sized card or note of the security code. Sometimes this is written in the radio manual. If it is not there Honda are one of the few manufacturers that will luckily will provide a code for free.

Your options are to contact a local dealer and go to them with proof of ownership or you can also do this online provided your details are already registered through your car purchase with the Honda Network - see details at this FixYa Tip.

Once you enter the code the radio should operate normally again.

Thanks and please do leave a vote for the information.
