Question about Panasonic NN-S962 Microwave Oven
Our Panasonic NN-S962BF has been rock solid for 6 years... until now.
It runs for several seconds on any setting and then just stops as if it never started - no blinking lights, no beeps, no visible change. If I set it for 1 min, it just goes back to the clock display. There is an audible but quiet clicking noise before it stops. So, normal running for 3-4sec, then 1-2 sec of clicking then full stop.
My wife thinks the turntable isn't turning as quickly as it used to.
I can't open the casing without a special screw driver bit, so I haven't opened it up yet. (where would I get one of those anyway?)
Any help/advice would be welcome
In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer. You can find one here.
