Question about Heating & Cooling
The Condensor unit won't come on except if you push down the contactor manually. Over the winter the inside heater and air handling part of the split system was replaced with a Goodman unit. The outside part of the split system was not touched. It worked well last year. Any ideas?
It sounds to me that the wire going to y2 on the furnance coming from the thermostat was not wired back up this is the wire that supplies control voltage to the contactor on the condensing unit. I would call the installer who changed the furnace out back to remedy this problem.
