Generic problem for all Routers

Actiontec

posted by splansing on Jun 01, 2008

I do know that, while you are chained to the Actiontec router if you want your FiOS to work, since what amounts to a modem is integrated with the router...you can turn the router into a bridge, bypassing the routing (and firewall) functions of the Actiontec, and use some other router if you are so inclined. If you elect to go that route, you can find the instructions online...or email me and I'll be happy to send them to you. Again, this is splansing@gmail.com
I have the same problem.
