I need a new BATTERY DOOR for my Fuji Finepix S7000. I tried to order just the door from numerous sources & they could not get it (because Fuji insists on me sending my entire camera to them)! This repair would take 60 seconds IF I could just get a door....I finally sent the entire camera to Fuji & they charged me over $100. Obviously the door is flimsy, but I love the camera. Would like to order the door ONLY (and maybe even a spare for future similar problem) Thanx!

I have needed this part for a long time & immediately ordered it from the e-bay source. THANK YOU! And I hope the seller sends this battery door ASAP! I have paid for it (but I did this once w/another vendor & NEVER received the door)

I looked up the cover on Ebay, and you can order it here:

What I do when I need a camera part, is wait until they have an "as-is" camera in my model, and get them for spare parts. In this case, they have the battery cover for about $21 after shipping, but if you keep your eye out, you might find the whole camera for close to that.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Lense stuck in out position

Hi. If your camera is turning on with the lens stuck out. Turn the camera on, and without turning it off, open the battery door, and take the batteries out. Leave it for about 1-2 minutes and try again. This process is call power reset. Usually works. Good Luck.

Does it work with "no batteries" - only plugged into power source? check your usb cable by trying to power up something else.

Fuji Finepix S7000 zoom error

If it is 'relatively' new then the best place is the place you bought from- under UK legislation they are responsible to repair or replace. If you are not in the UK then look up the Fuji website for your country- technical help. there is possibility they will direct you to a suitable place.
