Check the power connector to the hdd for loose if loose change it to the free conector which is avaiable in the smps also look for pend pins in the motherboard and hdd also change the ide conector or the sata cable place ur hand on the hdd lighty restart ur computer u will feel the hdd spinning if not try anothe power conector
