Question about Dell W2607C Television

1 Answer

I have a w2607c that doesn't display when I turn it on. I got the Dell screen to appear once. but after that there will be nothing, the power light will just blink Blue. It doesn't turn amber at all. I'm trying to get it to work as a computer monitor mainly. Am I doing something wrong, or does something need replaced? I don't think the warranty works anymore. Thank you for your time.

Check and replace its main power regulator board. It might be faulty. Normally there is no repair to these boards. Card base replacement should be done.

Check all of the fuses inside. If none are blown, unplug and hold power button for 20 seconds thus resetting all of the capacitors. Plug in and hold power button for 20 seconds thus powering the capacitors up safely. should work

Check the 27 mhz oscillator on the back of the main board. Resolder of replace it. It causes lots of different blinking amber lights.

When I press the power button to turn the computer on, nothing is displayed on the LCD screen. Power light, Hard Drive light, and Battery Light all appear normally. I hear the fan blowing internally and...

Check the resolution of the screen by right clicking on an empty part of the screen and choosing properties. Go to settings and make the resolution 1078 x 768 and hit apply and ok. There are instances when the resolution will change from a software update etc. that is not supported by the monitor or graphics card.
