Question about Computers & Internet

Open Question

I have a samsung t369. I put a password on it and somehow my son changed it accidentally. Now I can't retrive any info or make calls without putting in the password. My service provider said there is nothing they can do to get my password back. It would have to be restored and I'll lose everything. Is there anyway to break a password? My phone is prepaid and I have info that I can't afford to lose. Please help! Thank you!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

SOURCE: Samsung SGH-U600 lost password

You should be able to reset by turning on the phone without the SIM card inside, entering *2767*2878# and waiting for the phone to reset

SOURCE: password

If you go onto the palm and into prefs, you will want to go into the security section and click on assign.

What we want to do is to reset the password.

We are looking to get to the prompt "lost password".

There may be an option for lost password , but if not, try entering the wrong password in a couple of times. This should eventually prompt you for one of the options listed above.

You will need to then say "lost password" and accept it when it says info will be lost. The only info that would be lost is info you designate as "private" which hardly anyone does.

SOURCE: Won't detect Sim Card

Calm down. Could be a number of things causing lost service. Restart the PC with iphone disconnected. Bring up itunes, plug in iphone and let the activation sit for a couple of minutes. If status does not change about sim card, eject the sim card using a paper clip, insert that paper clip into the tiny hole on the top of the phone. disconnect the phone, insert the card again, and reconnect. Let me know if this helps.

Is there any way to unlock my note 5 without having to do a master reset? My child put a code on it somehow N does not remember N I can't lose anything on the phone.

Depending-- maybe. Samsung has a feature available called FindMyMobile website here: If your Note 5 has been set up with a Samsung account and has been configured properly, you may be able to remove the password from this interface. If not-- unfortunately there's no other way to get around the lock screen other than guessing the password or resetting.

Son changed my security code somehow dont know how to change it or bypass it so i can use my phone

call your service provider they should be able to give it to you, or they may have you enter a code in 10 times until you get the puk code message and they can give that to you. Dont try to enter the code in more than 10 times without calling your provider, you can accidentally lock it to the network and then not be able to use it.

I have a samsung phone and i need to reset my phone password. i cannot pull up anything

Hello. The phone password (unless you changed it at one point) is most often just the last 4 numbers of your phone number or SSN. Please try that. Once you have passed that screen you may reset to a different code again.

If that is not it, you should be able to take it to your mobile phone store and have them reset for you, but any contacts may be lost, etc. Phones are set this way to prevent an easy reset and use on lost phones, so there is no other "easy" way to do this without accidentally disabling or wiping the phone setup/activation.

Sim lock samsung sgh e370

You can try the master reset code of 00000000 just keep hitting zero until it won't put anymore in, or 8 x zero. This may work but I doubt it. Most times when you do this as with puk codes you will need to have it fixed via a tech with the required software and cables to bypass the sim lock and reset it to factory. You should not need to lock your sim anyway as most phones have a scurity feature that allows you to put a passcode on your phone, so if you turn it off or it goes flat, you charge it and turn it back on, you are required to put in the code to use the phone and I suspect this is what you mean a personal phone lock code not a sim lock code. As to unlock a sim and change the codeing you will need the original code from the sim supllier and I have never heard of or known anyone who has been given this particular code. The only way I know you can get a sim code is via a hack. Which is illigal in every country I know of. Some phones however do call this feature a sim code and this can be missleading when this sort of a problem happens. I do hope the master code built into the phone works for you, but this code can be readily changed by the user and if it has been by your son it could be anything. And if the master reset code does not work you will have to take it to a phone tech and have it flashed or maybe they can bypass the code without flashing the phone as a flashed phone will not have any info you or your son put on it anymore. It wipes the phone memory and software and reinstalls it back to factory( AS NEW) hope this helps you but I do think you will need to take the phone to a tech.
