Question about Viking Dishwashers
Welcome to FixYa.
It sounds like perhaps the unit is either not level ( leaning forward slightly ) or the rack bearings are worn thus the rack slides forward, especially when loaded with dishes.
To adjust the legs on the Viking/Asko dishwashers you`ll need to access the front or rear legs or both and either screw them up or down...then lock the nuts in place.
...However if the rack rollers are worn, the bearings are tricky. There is usually evidence of them wearing ( but not always ) in the form of gray plastic pieces being found in the tub...
Here's what works for me, move the rack stops to the left if you haven't already and then the rack itself.
Now you'll need to remove the bumpers at the back of the rack rtop rack rolls out spontaneously - a6e3c04.jpg>
push down on the bumper as shown
Now top rack rolls out spontaneously - d5605f4.jpg to slide the rail all the way out as shown, but careful not to let the ball bearings fall into the sump area in the process.
I usually hold the broken piece in plactop rack rolls out spontaneously - 9177d05.jpgoving the rail...
The trtop rack rolls out spontaneously - 9c58331.jpgto install the balls into the holders first...
and the holders into the stationary part of the rail on the inside wall...
The inside wall rail will keep the holders in place as you slide the inside rail into place...this will usually require holding the holder with one hand while pushing the sliding rail back into place...
Once this is done, re-install the back rail bumpers followed by the rack and then finally the front rack stoppers and that should do it.
Hope that explain it for you or gives you an idea of "what" and "how" it needs to be done.
