Question about Repeaters & Transceivers
I have recently installed a new Sitecom WL-130 to extend the range of my Bebox router at home. When on the router configuration page, the status is stuck on "scanning" which - according to the manual - means that I need to move the extender closer to the router. This clearly isn't the problem, as they are currently right beside one another. I am able to connect to the Sitecom WL-130 from my laptop, but it doesn't seem to be able to talk to the router correctly, and when I try to connect to the internet, I get "Page can not be found" and "Limited Connectivity".
I think I have the solution: you have to click on the basic settings tab, then n "site survey" button, then (optional) on "refresh" button.
Now you will get the information about your network, and you just have to check the channel number of the signal from your main router. then you have to set that channel in the "channel" button of the basic settings tab. You also have to choose Universal repeater as working mode of the sitecom device, instead of Access Point.
Hope it helps.
By the way, all these settings should be automatic in such a device.... But this sitecom range extender is ****.
I suggest everybody is reading: DON,T BUY THIS ITEM!!!! Spend 10 bucks more and get a working one!!!

Maybe it's not connected 2 your sitecom wl-130 but still 2 your router, choose via network connections the sitecom wl 130.
