Look on the Company site under drivers and downloads. You will have to put it your model first. After you find your product you will find the drivers and more.

After you download the driver you might have to put it in a folder for it to be stored in. After you put it in a folder, unzip it in that folder and it should have an .exe file. Click on this and it should do the install. If it does not do your install you can go to the Device manager and click on the device and tell it to install or upgrade the driver. Then you will need to direct it to the folder where you have the unzipped file. This should correct your problem. I am sorry that it took this long to get you an answer. I just started working on this site recently and your question just got in my cue. I have no control over how that works. You can click on my name from now on and I will do my best to answer your question within a day.
I can't fix this for you, but if I helped you get it fixed, please rate it as a fixya. I did more than try; I sent you exactly to where you could get the driver and explained how to install it.

When I plug my camera into the USB port nothing comes up on the screen for me to import photos like the computer does not recognise my camera is plugged in. This just started happening today.

Try going and shutting down and unplug the computer. Push the start button until if flashes. The go ahead and plug computer back in the wall socket then restart do not connect the camera yet. Once your logged on and settled in. Then plug the camera back in to the USB port. It should pick up the driver and open options for what to do with the files. Also make sure you are powered on with the camera when you plug it in.
If it still does not pickup the camera go ahead and install the driver disc again for your camera or the software disk. Then try it again. Also go to my computer and left click to see if it is showing up in the devices. I hope this assisted you thanks for using FixYa for all your computer questions. John

Cant not get my integrayedwebcam to work i have a averatec al in one 18.4

Important notes
The computer communicates with cameras with photo softwares required installation. Photo software installed has to be compartible with the brand camera. Generic photo softwares installed on the computer can recognise any built-in cameras, camera connection attachements. Once, a photo software has been click opened, the features fucntionalities of capturing snap shots, editing, and saving are made possible from any available camera devcies. Built-in computer cameras have already installed softwares locatable on the menu programs task bars.

A separate camera used to acquire photos elswhere requires connections to the computer from which manipulations become possible. Any already existing photo media softwares would recognise to intergrate a camera connection. For the camera to function while connected to a computer would require the feature functions of an opened photo editing program.

Note 1
A computer built-in camera can perform on the network only by opening the photo windows software provided on the web. The internet web cam for example provides the opportunity to search and locate any cameras attached to the computer for network communications. Such an instance easily recognises the built-in computer camera. A separate camera would require connection compartibilities to the computer systems, and possibly the network type. A network that provides photo camera softwares incompartible to the cameras connected to the computer would require generic softwares installations for communcations to take place between camera, computer, and a network of computers.

I HAVE YASHICA CAMERA EZ F5 ZOOM , CAN NOT USE AS PC CAMERA WHY ?

You can't use this camera as a web camera because it's not designed to be used as one. It doesn't have a way to connect the image sensor directly to the computer. When you take a picture with this kind of camera, the image is stored in the camera's memory or an installed flash card. You can transfer those stored images to your computer, but not the image picked up by the camera.

I am trying to find a way to connect my jvc camcorder to my vista computer.. I have the correct cables, but the computer will not recognize that is connected. Of course i don't have the software that came...

are you using firewire or JVC? My JVC has both. My Vista will not pick it up when I use USB but if i use the Firewire port it works. IF you dont have firewire just go to Best Buy PC department and tell them you need a firewire. it will run you $30+ depending on how long you need the cable.

Where do you connect a digital camera on your computer?

how old is this "older computer"
It may not matter, what im thinking is that you could pick up a card reader from any electronics store and plug it into your usb. Then your computer will see the reader as a removable device in my computer. This would be the easiest way.

The other way is to first install the software that came with the camera. Then plug the camera into the usb ports and transfer the pictures thruough the program that came with the camera. Sometimes this can be tricky and not work 100% the first time.

Also what kind of camera do you have ?
What kind of OS are you running XP,Vista, etc.?
What kind of card are you trying to get the pictures off of?
