SOURCE: colour changing
I found this on another site:
[QUOTE=numbnutjas]I had the same problem along with lots of others who bought this great prolite monitor.
Whenever you turn the power off for more than five seconds the monitor looses an important bit of info of a hidden menu. Iilyama are not keen on publicizing the fact their monitor has a bug!
Follow these steps very carefully, it might not work the first time but it does work I promise.
Make sure that the moniter power button is off.
Unplug monitor from mains ( the auto exit button should flash red after about five seconds and you hear a popping sound.)
plug monitor back in mains.
hold down + and - on the monitor
now hold down power button on monitor
let go of power when power button when the green led lights up
let go of + and - buttons
wait a few seconds and press menu, a hidden menu will appear in the top right
use the + and - buttons to move the hilighted option over the auto colour option in the menu
push the menu button.
It does work, but if you have any problems: email at : miamoo2038 at hotmail dot co dot uk

Your welcome. I hope you get satisfaction and this problem is taken care of in your favor. In looking up the phone number for you to call, I noticed the price on this monitor, it is in the high range. Seems a shame a small part can take you down but it does happen. So, don't feel alone. Stick to your guns and don't give up until you get satisfaction from this company.
Thanks for boosting the rating. It mean a lot to us here. We don't get paid by the hour or anything like that. What we do, most of us have been doing for free for years. This site has a bright future as they pick up relationships with vendors. Tehre are certain requests, where we do get a token payment of four or six dollars. Most of us use this money on our own Power Computers to buy high end parts.
Again, good luck and you may ask for me anytime.

There is a little circuit board under the buttons that has gone bad or the button was pushed to far in and depressed the button sensor inside, befor you begen going into this monitor let me warn you of the risk. There is very high voltages inside that can ;ead to injury up including your death, so with that in mind and your ready to pop the back off this, lok at the little board take a cue tip, cotten swab and genly push on the button to see if it free itself if not this little board will need to be replaced.
Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620
