Uninstall sweetpack

To uninstall Sweetpacks Toolbar program from your computer, click the Start button, then select Control Panel, and click on Uninstall a program.
If you are a Windows 8 user, you can right-click on a bottom left hot corner (formerly known as the Start button) and select Control panel from there, then select Uninstall a program.

Seach and uninstall SweetIM for Messenger, SweetPacks Toolbar for Internet Explorer, Update Manager for SweetPacks and any other unknown programs from your computer.
Please note that on some computers these programs might have a different name, search for any program developed by Sweetpacks and uninstall it from your computer.
Because Sweetpacks is installed with other additional programs (DealPly, Free Ride Games Player, Ginger, PriceGong, SweetIM for Messenger, Sweetpacks Bundle Uninstaller, Update Manager for SweetPacks or Video Converter), we recommend that you search and uninstall any other unwanted or unknown programs from your computer.
Remove Sweetpacks Toolbar from Internet Explorer Open Internet Explorer, click on the gear icon " src="http://malwaretips.com/images/removalguide/icongear.jpg" border="0">Tools for Windows XP users) at the top (far right), then click again on Internet Options.
In the Internet Options dialog box, click on the Advanced tab, then click on the Reset button.
In the Reset Internet Explorer settings section, check the Delete personal settings box, then click on Reset.
  1. When Internet Explorer finishes resetting, click Close in the confirmation dialogue box and then click OK.
  2. Close and open Internet Explorer.
Remove Sweetpacks Toolbar from Mozilla Firefox At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help sub-menu (on Windows XP, click the Help menu at the top of the Firefox window), and select Troubleshooting Information.
Click the Reset Firefox button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.
  1. To continue, click Reset Firefox in the confirmation window that opens.
  2. Firefox will close and be reset. When it's done, a window will list the information that was imported. Click Finish

My husband has tried this on his computer, he has windows 7, firefox 4.0, and he just got this error message and firefox won't uninstall, his puter date and time are correct

- To uninstall Firefox, first make sure no "firefox.exe" processes are running on your machine: Open the task manager (invoke it by pressing ctrl-alt-del and choosing the appropriate option), click on the "Processes" tab, click on the heading "Name" to sort all running processes by name.
Scroll down the list and right-click on the first "firefox.exe" process picking the "Kill process" option. If there's more than one of them, repeat for all instances of "firefox.exe".
- Now go to the directory C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall and double-click "helper.exe". This should uninstall Firefox completely.
- Now we're in for the hard part: Go to C:\Dokuments and Settings\[Your User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles. That's where your profile resides. Unless you're using the Profile Manager, chances are you're seeing just one directory "[random string],default". (In my case it's called "4sr92zjz.default", f. ex.).

I upgraded Firefox. From the I only get a message to restart the computer over and over. Even if I try to uninstall it just restart the computer

often this is because of a corrupt file somewhere in the install. If you have tried
1. Findind the Mozilla Firefox folder in your computer and using the uninstall icon
and
2. Going to Control Panel and going to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features and using that service to uninstall the program
then try to uninstall what you can, do not reboot, and manually delete the Mozilla Firefox files from Program files. Then, load up the Registry editor by going to run-> and typing in regedit
search (ctrl+f) for the word firefox and delete every instance you find.
now, restart your computer normally by going to start and then restarting.

How do you remove or uninstall Firefox when a hacker is using the browser to get to your computer? Please he won't let me uninstall it from the add/remove programs list, it's making my comp go slowly

Disconnect your Internet connection first. If you're using wireless, turn off your wireless connection. If you're using wired, disconnect the wire first. If your computer is not connected to the Internet, no hacker can access it.
