Need the download to make printer work off the computer.

You need to install the printer driver on your computer.

You need access to a computer that has Internet access to download the HP printer driver and then copy the printer driver to a flash memory stick. Then copy this printer installation file to your computer and install the printer driver.

You may have done this already but go to www.lexmark.com and go to the support/downloads tab and search for your printer. Download and install the printer driver for your printer which is for Windows 7. let me know if this works.

Hi, It seems that the you might have upgraded your computer to Windows 7 and you are not able to get your printer work. In this case you need to download printer's driver for the operating system that you are using that is Windows 7 64-bit. Download the driver from: http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-DX5000-all-in-one-printer/Drivers-Support
Once downloaded, install the printer using the new obtained driver. Hope the new driver would work on your computer. Moreover, you may change the USB port to which the printer is connected, meaning unplug the printer from the computer and re-connect it to different USB port of your computer and try to install printer.

First, disconnected the printer from the computer and turn it off.
if you have the CD that came with the pirnter, install the software from the CD.
if not go to the link and download the driver and software

restart the computer, turn on the printer and connect the printer to the computer.

You need to download the software for Vista in order for you to mae the printer work on the vista computer, Just go to this link and download the software for vista of this printer , Just check this option there "I have read and understand the information above, and wish to download the designated software" then proceeed with the download...
