While left unplugged for a few hours, can you press and hold the stop or cancel button for 10 full seconds, then wait half hour before plugging it back in. This is a hard reset.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems that the issue is with control going bad however, before replacing the control try to reset it. To reset it you'll have to press and hold the TEMP and OPTION button for 10-15 seconds. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

    OK then please
check that the drain hose is not clogged with debris and any other foreign
object(s). If it is clean then the timer has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for
    further assistance.

    Thanks

Stops working, begins beeping and f dl starts flashing. Have unplugged and replugged several times but it won't release door

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error “dlf” or "F dl"means a door latch failure. This means that you’ll need to replace the door latch assembly however before doing that you can leave the washer unplugged for 30minutes so that it resets itself. In the meantime when it’s unplugged just inspect the door latch wiring to ensure all the connector plugs are intact and not loose or broken. You can access the door latch wiring harness by removing the top panel of the washer. To remove the top panel just remove the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, and then lift off. Locate the door latch assembly behind the front panel on the right hand side. Trace all the connectors from the door latch to the Central Control Unit (CCU) and make sure they are properly seated at both ends. If after doing this still the issue is not resolved then unfortunately you have to get the door latch replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I have a Whirlpool duet washer and on the control panel the light that says control locked is on and the washer does not work - is there a way to reset it?

Press the Pause/Cancel button twice then press and hold the End of Cycle Signal button for three seconds until the Control Locked light turns off. If it doesn't work, unplug the washer for at least fifteen minutes to reset it.

Replace the user interface/LED assembly if the Control Locked indicator still lights up and not allowing you to operate the washer.

Remove the three screws at the rear of the top panel securing it to the back of the washer. Slide the top panel back and lift it off the washer.

Disconnect the user interface/ LED assembly ribbon connector from the left side of the central control unit (CCU) and release it from the wiring harness brackets.

Pull the dispenser drawer out and press down the release tab at the back of the drawer to pull it out completely.

Remove the screw that was covered by the dispenser drawer in the recessed hole next to the drawer opening.

Open the door and insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the notch at the bottom center of the control panel to release it.

Press and release the tab behind the right hand side of the control panel securing it to the cabinet.

Gently pry up and release the top of the control panel and pull it off the washer.

Pull the cycle selector knob off the control panel and release the tabs securing the user interface/LED assembly to the control panel. Lift the user interface/LED assembly from the control panel once all the tabs are released.

Install the new user interface/LED assembly into the control panel by inserting it into the tabs from one side to the other until it is completely secured.

Install the control panel on the washer and the top panel in reverse of the removal steps.

Note: Please specify the model number of your washer for the specific replacement parts.

Washer stops mid cycle

OK.. to the back left of your lid, under the top casing, by the hinge.. you have a hook metal bar that activate the lid switch.. hard to describe, but I'll do my best.. use left hand lift up on down on lid.. use right hand, reach under lid and find metal hook.. ok.. push up on lid and right hand push back on metal hook slightly(not to much).. now try closing lid and see if you heard clicking noises.. also, in the future try not to let the lid drop down, that will bend the hook.. hope you got it.. good luck...mike

You say it stopped working mid-print... possible paper jam? Ink cartridge not clicked in all the way? (they should all line up evenly across the tops).
In control panel->printers and faxes, right click on Canoni960 and choose properties. In maintenance tab try to do nozzle check and print head alignment. In lower right corner is status monitor, click to see if any useful information in there.
