There is a black plastic clip on the trigger gun where the hose goes it, just pop the clip out and the hose should come off.

LF error message and loud beeps... What's wrong?

Lf means your getting low flow of water in the machine or long fill is the technicall name. Check your hoses for debris in the screens attatched to the washer.
From the manual.
LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.
To make a long story shorter, either the inlets to the machine are plugging with sediment, the water valves are failing or the water level detector is failing or the tube to the sensor is plugged.
Under the control panel is the pressure switch, take the panel off and then take the hose off and blow through it to check for blackage, if it is not blocked the the pressure switch may be bad.
To test the water valves, try changing the setting to either all hot or all cold and see if this happnes again, if it does not happen on hot but it does on cold, then the cold valve is the problem and vise verse, you can even swap the hoses and keep using the machine if you only desire one temperature for washing if one of the valves works.

When machine leaks people say new pressure switch.Cost a bit before so you pay out check the hose attatched first, mine had a hole in at bottom.I ordered part 7 pound and have replaced(small hands needed and bit fiddly) but have just did my first wash and all great. prior to fixing I checked all other hoses putting water in as sometimes they get loose or bent.

Hi I have a problem with my Bosch SHU43CO6UC/22 dishwasher. using "power scrub plus" and "regular" cycles it will continue to fill and overflow the door, after the cycle has run even...

The bosch dishwashers use a fill valve that is attatched to the inlet hose. yours is stuck in the open position. this usually happens when you have hard water, as the minerals build up on the sealing surface of the water valve. there is no easy fix. the fill hose will have to be replaced. It requires removing the machine, removing the bottom pan, and changing the hose connections.

the valve uses water pressure to stay closed. if the water pressure is very low coming in, it may not be enough to close the valve. there is a filter screen between the fill hose, and where it connects to your water valve. try cleaning the filter out and see if that makes a difference. If not, you will have to get the hose changed.

My preasure washer will not hold high preasure it just goes up and down almost feels like it has no prime

Most units come with a protection screen on the fitting where you attatch your waterhose on, clean screen.Other cause may be your water pressure/volume insufficient(low water pressure) or old water hoses sometimes have internal damage and restrict water flow.

My Kohler Fairfax faucet pressure /flow has dropped (cold)

Verify the cold water outlet has equal pressure as the hot side outlet at the wall. Check the inlet screen on the cold side water line where it attatches to cold water pipe. The screen could be plugged. Then check the cold side hose for any restrictions. Also check if there is a screen on the outlet side of the cold water hose and see if it is plugged. Otherwise the faucet valve is mis-aligned and will need to be rotated and re-tightened to align the valve to the center so both sides have equal water flow.

On some pressure washers there is no bypass. If this is supposed to bypass, then the pressure bypass is faulty.

Water pressure became slow after less than 6 months of a new Moen Kitchen. Faucet some calcium build. Pressure is the same with both hot and cold running. Makes me think it is the faucet.

It is probably a clogged airator. If the faucet is the type where the spout is attatched to a hose there may be a screen where the hose attaches to the spout. with the spout off check the flow through the hose. If the flow at the hose is good then the problem is in the spout. Most of the time it is in the spout. you can replace just the spout if you cannot find a screen or airator to clean.

F-04 flashing on my Hotpoint WT960 washing machine

F04 is an error code for the pressure switch not sensing the water level.

This may be a faulty switch, or more likely cause is a damaged rubber pipe connecting it to the drum area.

To have a look, Turn off and unplug machine, turn off water inlet.
Move the machine out to ge access to the back.
Remove the top rear screws, and slide the top off.
The pressure switch will be connected to one of the small hoses. Check all the hoses for condition and chafing, and that they are still attatched. The pressure sensor woll be a small unit plugged into the end of one, with a hose going straight down past the normal water level - possibly down to the bottom pump area. It usually is connected to a small inverted empty canister.

If the connections and hose seem fine, you can test the switch by blowing hard into the end of the attatched hose (you have to take it off to test with hose attatched)

I can find replacement parts dealers for you if you specify your main town.

Thanks for using Fixya! - if this provides a solution, please take a moment to rate it as such. Thank you.

Water level

The level of water in the drum is controlled by a pressure switch. This switch is attatched to the drum via an air tube which pushes air into the pressure switch as the machine fills with water. There could be a blockage in the pressure chamber attatched to the drum or the pressure switch is faulty.
