The reason you have sound and no picture is because there is a problem in the unit. The problem most likely can be the lamp, the t-com board or as capacitor on the main board of the television.
First, check the lamp, if it is not burnt or leaking, then check all the capacitors on the main board, if none of these seem to be the problem then replace the t-com board.
Unplug the television for some time, lets say about an hour or two so the high voltage on it will dissipate. If you are not familiar with this kind of technical activity, then seek the assistance of a professional repairman. Also check the warranty period of the television, to know if you can take it back to the dealer that supplied it to you for further assistance.
