the model number is LW035-F that's what is written next to model number on the sticker you referred to. It's a top loader and when it's half way through each cycle it stops and beeps and all the lights corresponding to the unfinished cycles flash until you press the start/pause button then it resumes. When it reaches the final spin however it runs the complete cycle and finishes just fine.

I've just run a cycle to double check. The hot and cold lights are flashing at the same time. Is this some type of error code?

  • luisa_sgro Oct 13, 2010

Hi just read both postings. Now you mentioned in your last posting that the hot and cold lights are flashing ,If this is correct then what wash temp have you selected,is it cold, warm or hot? Also have you a manual water selection option on your machine or is it automatic? Both hot and cold lights flashing on a FISHER@PAYKEL machine usually indicates a problem with water coming into the machine. Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure we can rectify this fault.

Hi me again.Just a couple of questions as I am having trouble finding your model number in my service manuals. How old is your machine? And is there a name on the front control panel like ,Gentle Annie or smart drive --etc--?Sorry to ask these questions but I need this information to accurately diagnose the fault with your machine. Thanks for your patience.

  • stormlyboo Oct 13, 2010

We only ever use cold wash, and yes it does have manual water temperature controls and water level controls.

F&P washing machine:GW709 doesn't cut out when filling

could b pressure switch tube is blocked or your control board with the pressure switch attached is faulty. empty water from machine, remove pressure switch hose from control board, blow thru tube to remove any blockages, refit tube. turn on cycle, select low water level, push start, after about 30sec"s push start again, that should stop it filling straight away. if the water stops push start again to continue filling. if it doesnt stop filling after restarting the cycle then it is your control module.if the water doesnt stop filling after the 30 sec stop it is the water valves. by the way what country do u live in because $120 seems to b alittle too expensive. please reply 4 more help.

Stops at spin cycle

sounds like ur door switch is either bad or not getting pushed in it should have a lil arm on the door that goes in a hole and pushes a switch this is a safety switch so arms dont get broke my brother n law did this it can happen hes a bright one but turn it on the spin cycle and get a screwdriver and push the switch in and see if it starts if not take switch off and unhook wires unplug unit first and check continuity thru he switch it should have continuity thru it when switch is pushed and not when the switch is not pushed inp.s. they can be a pain to get to sometimes

Kenmore washing machine model 110 wash cycle stops

DOES IT DO THIS ON EVERY WASH OR SOMETIMES? IF SOMETIMES, CHECK LID SWITCH( THERE'S A LITTLE HOLE WHEN YOU OPEN THE LID, ON THE LID SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE PLASTIC PIECE THAT GOES IN THAT HOLE. THE SWITCH IS UNDER, INSIDE THAT HOLE. YOU CAN GET A PEN OR KEY TO SEE IF IT'S BROKEN.)

I suggest checking the moister sensor and or cycling thermostat. the hi limit thermostat as well, with a meter for continuity. other wise you may have a bad timer

Duet washer stopped during wash cycle.

take off the panel below the door three screws and look for the tech sheet located on the right side. It will coach yoou thru the codes and common problems. Sounds like it may be the door swithch does it lock when you push the start? If not the door switch my guess would be a machine control. 877-262-1479 parts.

Water keeps flowing does not stop---does not go thru cycles

You probably pinched the water fill hose that comes up from under the tub when you closed the cabinet. Also make sure it is free from trash in the bottom of the tub and that it is tightly connected to the water level switch.
