Hi. Please checkfirst if you are connected to your router or to the modem by initiating ping command. Go to start menu then click run. Type cmd then press enter. You will see a black box then type in ping yahoo.com then press enter. You should be getting a reply from yahoo if you have internet connection. If there is no reply then i suggest you check all physical connection. There might be a loose connection there.

All the best!

Cant acess live chat on facebook

Hi!

Try to remove any proxy server. If you're using Internet Explorer, click Tools on the upper right side of the browser and choose Internet Options, then go to Connections and click the LAN settings button. Make sure you don't have any of the boxes checked.

If you don't have a proxy server set. Just try to use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Hope this helps.

I cant connect to internet, always asking me to

To connect to the internet from your mobile phone, it is absolutely necesary to have a data plan activated since the connection from your phone is not the same as from you PC. The pc connects mostly trough a ground internet connection where you phone connects firstly to a signal router(usually big antenas on top of smaller buildings)and after that it goes to a server. From this server, your info goes to a sattelite, thus meaning that your operator is involved in a lot of costs. To activate data plan you should call your operator, ask for activartion on your number and ask them to send you connectivity settings(in the case of the Phone in the picture ask for gprs/edge settings). After that, you can connect freely to any web page in the limit of your data plan or in the limit of you pocket. Gtalk issue

Maybe you need to configure the proxy settings of your gtalk application. Or you can try downloading a new gtalk installer and install it. if problem still persists, there may be a configuration on the gtalk application, or your computer has been infected with a malware virus that blocks your system from connecting to their server. Let me know if the problem still persists, i will provide another option based on your experience in troubleshooting the application. Thank YOu.

Most of DSL modems are connected to PC with USB cable...
n if ur server is connected with other pc on lan .. you can use internet sharing option available in winxp.

Following are the steps to enable Internetsharing for other pcs.

How to use Internet Connection Sharing loadTOCNode(2, 'summary'); To use Internet Connection Sharing to share your Internet connection, the host computer must have one network adapter that is configured to connect to the internal network, and one network adapter or modem that is configured to connect to the Internet.

On the host computer loadTOCNode(3, 'summary'); On the host computer, follow these steps to share the Internet connection:
  1. Log on to the host computer as Administrator or as Owner.
  2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Network and Internet Connections.
  4. Click Network Connections.
  5. Right-click the connection that you use to connect to the Internet. For example, if you connect to the Internet by using a modem, right-click the connection that you want under Dial-up.
  6. Click Properties.
  7. Click the Advanced tab.
  8. Under Internet Connection Sharing, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.
  9. If you are sharing a dial-up Internet connection, select the Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet check box if you want to permit your computer to automatically connect to the Internet.
  10. Click OK. You receive the following message: When Internet Connection Sharing is enabled, your LAN adapter will be set to use IP
address 192.168.0.1. Your computer may lose connectivity with other computers on
your network. If these other computers have static IP addresses, it is a good idea to set them
to obtain their IP addresses automatically. Are you sure you want to enable Internet
    Connection Sharing?
  11. Click Yes.
The connection to the Internet is shared to other computers on the local area network (LAN). The network adapter that is connected to the LAN is configured with a static IP address of 192.168.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

let me know if it helps.

best regards,
