Question about Samsung Tocco F480 - Pay Monthly Cellular Phone
There are several ways to transfer the files/media/photos from phone to computer:
1. Bluetooth If your computer has a built-in bluetooth module or if you have a usb bluetooth adaptor, you can transfer the files from your phone to computer or from computer to phone. The procedure is more or less similar with that of transferring files/photos between two mobiles. I hope you know how to do that, if you don't know, then let me know so that I can update it.
2. Via USB cable as Mass Storage
You'll only need the USB Cable to access this method, but on most samsung mobiles (including yours) it needs to set the USB settings from the Phone, open Settings > Phone Settings > USB Settings > and then select the "Mass Storage" and save the settings. Now connect the usb cable to the phone and to the computer, once the connection is established, you'll be able to access the Phone memory and the Memory card's folder on your computer. After the automatic usb installation is finished (usb notification on the taskbar near the Computer Clock), open the My Computer, there you'll see the Phone memory and the Memory card as separate partions, eg.. F: or G: (for reference only), you can copy/paste the contents of the memory card/phone memory to the computer or vice versa.
3. Via Samsung Pc Studio
This connection type is another very commonly use connection, by default, samsung mobile will connect to the computer as "pc suite" mode. If you've already made changes with the usb settings on your phone, you need to revert it back to "pc suite". This application comes with the mobile box, but if you don't have one, you can download it form here (click here). With this connection, you'll be able to sync the two devices i.e. mobile and computer using the built-in feature of the Samsung Pc Studio, like transferring music, photos, etc...
There are still few more, like Wireless Lan, Infra Red (your phone doesn't have infrared port), Via Memory card reader,.... but I hope the above mentioned 3 tips will be enough for you. If you need further help, or if you have problem, let me know.
Thanks for using FixYa.
