Hey dude i had the same problem n_n. Attach the screws in place and try to screw one by one gently. Soon this pressure will keep the spring tighten (instead your finger's pressure) then it will be easier to reassemble the component. I know you'll fix it n_n.

I lost my old original power adaptor so I need more specific info for the bms10m.

It is a class 2 transformer. The Conair part number is TEAD-57-121600U Input: 120 volts AC 60 Hz 29 Wats Output: 12 volts DC 1.6. You can try getting an alternative as long as it has the specifications as shown above. I wish you luck.

I have a Wahl clipper Pro Series Rechargeable model 9550 and can't figure out which charger goes to it. I have one labled for model 5550 only - is that it?

My clipper, model 8552 says use with model PCC charger only.
On the charger / transformer it lists the clipper models it will work with. It says class 2 transformer model A30316Q then lists the models in the middle of the unit and then at the bottom says model PCC PT#97562-103

Power chord frayed and I need a new one for a conair hair iron CS36. The chord pivots in the handle 360 degrees.

what I found out with my hair dryer (conair infinity model) was that there was a short at the plug and when I bent the wire a little to left or right the dryer would work. The plug is GFI protected that means there is a test and reset switch built in to the plug. There for for me to fix my hair dryer I would have to replace purchase order the whole cord. The cord assembly cost almost half the price it would cost to replace the dryer with a new dryer. I purchased a new dryer.
