If the needle isn't bent, and its inserted to the top, then most likely the timing is off and you need to have it serviced. Not something you can do on your own. Must be caliberated properly to work right.

Needle does not reach bobbin to to pull bobbin thread on surface

Sewing machine needles are specific to each model. If the needles are not for your model they could be too short or too thick so that they don't sit in the shank correctly. Check your user manual or Mr Google could help.

Bobbin Mechanism

There are two types of bobbin mechanism, rotary and oscillating, rotary goes one way and oscillating goes back and forth, if the needle is hitting the bobbin case or raceway either the needle is bent or thge machine needs retiming

Needle hits the wheel under bobbin

Sounds like the toothed-belt (if there is one) jumped off timing. You can try realigning until the needle goes into the hole as the bobbin holder rotates in place. You can do this by manually slowly operating machine -- do not do with electric pedal.

I used the embroidery bobbin sewing and now it's not functioning

I do not believe the bobbin thread is the reason for the problem.

Refer to your manual for maintenance, especially cleaning the bobbin area.

When you replace the bobbin case be sure the needle is in it's highest position and this will also set the shuttle in position to properly accept the case.

If the problem continues, then machine will need to go into the shop. If the timing needs to be adjusted, this is best done by a Bernina tech.

Re-curring loose bobbin case

According to the manual, this is a drop-in bobbin.

If the bobbin case came loose, the needle would probably hit it and brake.

Take the bobbin out.

Turn of the power and remove the needle plate (under the presser foot).

Raise the needle to it's highest position and lift out and reset the bobbin case into the shuttle. This should be in the maintenance section of the manual. The bobbin case should fit snug.

Make sure the thread is feeding from the bobbin, counter-clockwise and through the guides on the bobbin case.

For a rotary bobbin with a metal bobbin case.

Remove the bobbin case. Make sure the thread is feeding clock-wise and through the guide on the side of the bobbin case.

Raise the needle to it's highest position - this puts the hook at the lower left. Left the tab on the back of the bobbin case and slip the bobbin case back into the shuttle with the "arm" straight up. You may have to move the bobbin case a bit to the left or right for it to snap into place.

If the problem persits, take the machine back to the dealer - there should not be a charge for fixing this as it is brand new - keep your receipt and warranty information at hand.

The bobbin holder turns so the needle hits the holder and breaks.

Out of alignment means the timing is off...take it to a pro to have it cleaned and re-timed...if that's the real problem.
However, it seems that you think the issue is may be a bobbin holder that wasn't installed properly??

Do you have a top, side, or front loading bobbin?

Sorry...I don't understand: "If I manually turn the bobbin and holder clockwise just as the needle comes down, it goes all the way down without breaking or bending."
Do you mean that you're turning the hand wheel towards yourself...and that works properly? If so, it's probably not a timing issue.

If you have a metal bobbin case that you insert a wound bobbin into and then place that bobbin holder w/bobbin into your machine...perhaps the bobbin case just needs a slight turn in order to snap into place.

If that's not it, check your machine's manual to see what part might be missing...then, to find that small, shiny metal part, try shining a flashlight across the area where it was lost.

A bent needle will hit the metal. If it continues you will need to adjust the needle carrier. hopefully that isn't bent, but if so I don't believe that the replacement of it will be too costly.

With the needle hitting the bobbin case , it sounds like it might be out of time. Which I am sorry to say is not an easy at-home fix.

Send this machine back where it came from! machine. You have described a timing problem which you can not and should not need to do.
Change the needle first and test it to be sure the needle still hits on the hook. If it does, follow the above instructions. If it no longer hits then it's possible it is not as serious as I first thought.I'm not sure if the bobbin keeps coming out or the bobbin case(the plastic part the bobbin sits in) comes out.If it is just the bobbin, insert the bobbin in the case and pull on the thread. The bobbin should turn COUNTERCLOCKWISE. If it turns the other way, turn it upside down and try it again.
If it is the bobbincase, then Remove the needle plate and take the bobbin case completely out. On this machine there is a small lever which holds the bobbin case in position. Looking down on the bobbin case the lever is located at about 11 o'clock and has a small slot in it. It is also probably spring loaded which means it is not easy to turn without a small screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver in the slot and turn it to the left. Lift out the bobbin case and Carefully examine it for any nicks, scratches or rough spots. If you find any, they will need to be removed with an emery stick and or a sharpening stone. Buff with a very fine steel wool for total smoothness.
To replace the bobbin case use the screwdriver to open and hold the lever open while you insert the case back in. The straight part of the case will be on the right and you need to place the case so that the circular part rides on the slight grove in the hook.(The metal thing it sits on). Once you have it in place you can release the lever you've been holding open . It should fit over the edge of the bobbin case and not allow it to come out. Rethread the machine and turn it by hand a few times to see that it is working properly. Good luck!!!
