Question about Compaq Presario Notebook
You should have remove the battery if you have to leave your PC for such a long time. Take out the battery again, check the battery connectors if it is in good contact and free from corrosion and rust. Put it back, plug in the DC adapter and recharge the battery as usual. Try starting your PC after about one hour. If the problem persist, try checking with another new battery of same type.
