1 Answer

I changed the batteries on my Honeywell TH3110D Thermostat yesterday. The display flashes 'Cool On' then eventually it clicks, but the AC doesn't turn on.

Check the connection between the thermostat and the two leads that lead to cooling for the AC at the wall.

I have a Honeywell RTH6580WF Wi-Fi Thermostat that has "Cool On" or "Heat On" flashing in an endless loop. Could there be a major issue?

Pull the power red wire off the thermostat and batteries out if it has battery backup, then reinstall...much like a computer restart. If this doesn't work, then replace your thermostat.

My Honeywell Themostat is no longer controlling the systems after a battery change, but otherwise looks fine. Help!

The replacement batteries could be defective or installed incorrectly. Also, if the thermostat has to be removed from its mounting base for installation of replacement batteries, it may have been reinstalled incorrectly.

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

On my honeywell thermostat cool on keeps on flashing but ac dosent come on

On a Honeywell thermostat the flashing means that the system is in a delay to turn on the compressor. This is used to protect the compressor from coming on and off too often. The normal delay is about 5 minutes. After that the system should come on. If not there is s problem.

In order to help us help you we will need a little more information. What happens either at the inside unit or at the outside unit after the thermostat stops flashing "Cool"? Any fans come on? Do you hear a "KLUNK"? Any sparks? Please let us know so we can help.
