Question about Computers & Internet

Hello... I just purchased a Minolta Magnicolor 2200 DeskLaser Printer. When I turn the printer on it displays "Main Unit Cover Open." Is this due to that I cannot close the top door since the front latch is broken??? Thanks!!! --- Dale

The top feed on my printer will not close nor can I make copies through the top feed

You so need to be specific about the printer for this one. However, ...

Fully open the top feed unit cover. Examine and/or move around any movable parts. One of these parts is likely in a temporary position intended for clearing paper jams and needs to be returned to the normal position.
