You have 2 options: buy a newer version of Windows, or get Linux for free.

Windows may not run on your machine depending on how old it is. And your peripherals like a printer may not work.

You can download Linux to a flash drive or DVD and try it for free to see if you like it. Then you can install it while you're running off the flash drive. It takes about 20 minutes or so.

If you can run Windows 7, just about any Linux distribution will work fine. For a new user, I usually suggest Linux Mint, Elementary, or Zorin. If you have an older machine, try Ubuntu MATE. If it's ten years old, or has less than 500 MB of memory, try Lubuntu 32 bit. There are others that work with older PCs, but they wouldn't surf the web very fast anyhow.

There are lots of tutorials and selection guides on the internet to install and use Linux.

From where did you get your computer?
It's a serious breach-of-contract if a computer-store "pre-installed" Windows (XP or Vista or 7) on your computer, and they used a "stolen" product-key.

If a "friend" of yours installed Windows XP Professional, using a "stolen" product-key, they have not done you a favour.

Have your credit-card ready, and follow the on-screen instructions to make an online purchase (from Microsoft) of a valid product-key, in order to "get genuine" and to "pass" the "validation" check.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My computer is passing an information that, this computer did not pass genuine windows validation and asking for genuine Microsoft software. So how to deal with it?

if your win xp did not pass validation then it is on more than one machine.
if you have the original microsoft disc and you're absolutely positive it hasn't been installed on any other machine you would need to speak to microsoft.

My window copy did not pass genuine window validation .

if that the case, its either yo don't have the original serial key for your windows xp. if ever that is, go and reinstall your xp and try to download a program for the validation of your xp. it will bypass the authentication security and your xp will be authenticated.

My windows did not pass to genuine windows validation coz im a victim of software counterfeiting.

The best way to pass that, buy a genuine windows xp to a trustworthy store. Never buy to small stores or to other people.
