Thanks, unfortunately it's one of the fatal errors. This error is related to Scanning Unit. From user end, we can only clean the whole system with a blower or with an air can, or you can uninstall everything, then Turn Off the machine, unplug the power chord, leave the machine for few minutes (30 mins), reboot the system after it's properly cleaned. If this doesn't help, your only solution is to call brother, if you try something else with the hardware and failed to fix it, brother will not responsible for any untoward outcom and might deny your request when you need them.

How do I print on A5 paper on my TX300F?

A5 measures 148 × 210 millimeters or 5.83 × 8.27 inches. In PostScript, its dimensions are rounded off to 420 × 595 points.

You should be able to select A5 size in the Epson software, but above is a small idea of the sizes in case you have to setup manually, once you get it setup correctly then save it as a profile in the Epson software. If you are printing A5 then you need to make sure it is in landscape mode (if you are printing more than 1 page) if it is actual A5 sized paper or Photo paper then make sure gauge is moved on printer to the size of the medium being used.

Oki - how to print booklet?

The paper you have inserted into the printer, and your page size settings have to match. You can't load A4 paper and tell it to print A5 size. This is why it is printing so small on the A4 paper. It assumes you need to trim it down to A5 size after printing.

This machine will only print certain sizes as borderless. A5 is not one of them. You can use the following media with this feature: Matte Paper - Heavyweight: A4, Letter Premium Glossy Photo Paper:A4, Letter, 5 x 7", 10 x 15 cm/4 x 6", 8 x 10" Photo Paper:A4 Premium Semigloss Photo Paper:A4, Letter, 10 x 15 cm/4 x 6" Glossy Photo Paper:Letter, 10 x 15 cm/4 x 6" As you can see A5 is not in the list, therefor you will not be able to print A5 borderless via the normal means.
