Question about Stairmaster 4100PT Stair Climber

Stairmaster 4100pt levels will not change..too much resistance have to push pedals down with all my strength it wax working then just got too hard to get pedals down.

SOURCE: stairmaster 4600pt pedal falls without warning

i have the stairmaster 4000pt which was bought new in 2003. in 2007, i started experiencing the same problem, the right pedal would sometime slip and fall to the floor. i called the local fitness store and they came and replaced the hub assembly and that resolved the problem until now. The left pedal is now slipping.

I have a 440pt and the left pedal is skipping down to the floor about every 5 seconds. If the issue is the hub assemble, do I have to change out everything or can I just replace the bearing, etc...?

I changed out a chain and spring on my stairmaster 4100pt. Now the unit will not turn on. Is there a reset button somewhere?


You may consider retracing your steps to see if, while removing and then installing those components, a wire(s) didn't get bumped loose

My right pedal on my 4600 cl goes right to ground i belive the bushing is bad on the leveling arm the left side pedal is good and i nice and tight on the shaft where the right side was loose do u think the...

Left pedal has no resistance right pedal is fine
