This is somewhat tricky to do, and without pictures its hard to explain. I have found the manual here for you, just go to page 66 and it has instructions with full pictures and everything. Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up! Thanks so much for understanding, it would be a huge help to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do this for me. To view the manual you will need adobe reader, which you can get for free from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ You probably already have it though, please try opening the file first and find out. Here is the manual / guide please give it a few minutes the file is quite large:

EPSON SERIES L200 PRINTER DOES NOT PRINT BLACK COLOR

To everybody having issues with black not printing on the L200, I just got off the phone with Epson, and these steps solved it for me:

1.- Open the ink containers (lay flat and open carefully to avoid ink spillage).
2.- Run the Clean maintenance procedure from the Epson control panel
3.- Try printing a page with black features (still with the ink containers open)
3.- If it still won't print, try the Full Clean (it uses more ink, but in my case it was necessary)
4.- Try printing a page again (at this point it worked for me).
5.- Close the ink containers and put back on the side of the printer.

According to the Epson representative, this is the most common cause for printing issues with the L200 because the initial ink load creates a high vacuum and then the ink can't flow.

How do you open front to install new ink cartridge

Here's an article on How to Install Ink Cartridges in Lexmark X4200 Series All-In-One's. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/c1bGkM. Just follow the instructions.
In some cases, the ink cartridge carrier won't position itself in the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the solid white strip in the middle inside the printer - the other end of it is connected to the ink cartidge carrier. Gently slide the carrier to the center. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.

The magenta won't work. i put a new cartridge, cleaned headers, test printed. all the other colors work find but, NO magenta comes out.

This sounds like you are using an aftermarket or refilled ink cartridge. If this is the case, try putting in a new OEM magenta ink cartridge and running the deep cleaning utility 3 times. This usually clears a clogged nozzle caused by non-OEM loaded inks.
Let me know if this clears the problem. Thanks.

How do I change the ink in the Lexmark x6675

Here's an article in the Lexmark website on How to Change the Cartridges on Lexmark Inkjet and All-In-One Printers. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/dowL0Q. The printer shown may not look exactly like your printer, however, the steps are the same. There are cases that the ink cartridge carrier won't position itself in the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. In this case, just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the solid white tape in the midde inside the printer. The other end of the tape is connected to the carrier. Gently slide the carrier to the center. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to the power source. Hope this helps.

My canon ip4500 loads the paper but then does not print

Do you have any ink left or are the printer heads dirty or clogged.
If that is the case that will fix your problem, and i know that canon ink is very cheap buying it from walmart.

Ink monitor is lost

Try checking to see if your HP Digital Imaging Monitor is loaded & running. If you don't want to reinstall all the software (depending on wether you have broadband DSL) it's about 300Mb for XP or 43Mb for the bare drivers, then your only alternative would be the EWS program (if your going over ethernet), or the printers display screen. In your case I would check the whole software suite, a reinstall might help, but check first to see if all applicable HP program services are loaded & running (using the Task Manager).
