Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

I use Office 2007 on a Dell computer running Windows 7. About 25% of the time when I try to save changes to a document in either Word or Excel The buttons on the Quick Access Toolbar at the top left won't work> I can still close the window and it asks me if I want to save, so i don't lose work, but it is inconvenient. A fix?

Excel 2003 worksheet slow in 2007


Hi Lee, I have recently experienced the same thing. When Excel 2007 or later opens an Excel 97-2003 .xls file, there are major issues of speed. The file is opened in compatibility mode. The best thing to do would be to open the file, then save as (keep the same name if you like) an Excel 2007 .xlsx document (or .xlsm document if there are macros). Close the file, then reopen it, and the compatibility mode issue will be gone. You can now use the newly saved file as a normal Excel 2007 file. Hope this helped.

Hi, there!
As I know, MS office is a software to use for office works such as typing document, calculate and basic office database. MS Office software is NOT an operating system. You can not change you operating system to MS Office 2007. I think you meant is: Install Service Pack 3 of Microsoft Office 2007 on your computer. To do so, you first need the Microsoft Office 2007 software on your computer or you need MS Office 2007 disk. The Service Pack 3 of MS Office 2007 is the update only not the actual software to use.

I cannot open .docx and xlsx files.


The files extensions you have listed, .docx and .xlsx, are files that have been created using the Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 suite of programs. Specifically .docx is a Microsoft Word document, and .xlsx is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You will have to have either of the Microsoft Office programs mentioned, or you can also use the Open Office suite of programs. This is a free program that you can download at the following website:

1. click on save as and then you can choose doc extension (office 97 - 2003 )
2. in options you can set default save office 2003 document types
