That site had no springs nor the entire nose. Even inputed the part number in the search box, but it showed no results

Nope, nothing there. I can find the schematics for the entire tool, and also for the nose piece. When I search for the part number, every site I go to returns no results for the spring. I have also yet to find any place to buy the entire nose piece.

I bought my nail gun secondhand and can't find model number to order some nails?

Go to www.toolpartsdirect.com and click on brand name of the tool. From the catagories that follow, select the icon that most resembles your tool (pinner, finish nailer, coil nailer, framing nailer etc. ). Then click on the defferent model numbers to id your tool. Usually the model number is stamped on the body just above the nose. Not very visible because after stamping the number, it is painted bostitch yellow. You can also send photo of the gun to www.alco1@sbcglobal.net and I will ID the gun. Good luck

Nail cleats are not exiting when the mallet hits on my Bostitch MFN-201. The spring mechanism appears quite loose; you can push it down or in very easily by hand.

That is most likely what needs to be replaced as that is the return spring. If it is weak it may not be allowing the driver to go back up far enough to let the next cleat load into the nose. Here is the parts diagram. Bostitch (Stanley Tool Works) just merged with DeWalt so you can get the part from either company now or a dealer of either company.

Bostitch Rn46-1 Nail feed keeps coming dislodged when firing gun

The feeder will dislodge if the feed paw spring is weak or missing. Replace with new spring to keep the feeder paw in place. Visual test with good feed spring. Remove nails and open side door. Fire gun rapidly against hard rubber or coiled air hose. The feeder should move back and fourth in time with the piston/driver. If the feeder seems to move in slow motion compared to the driver, check feeder piston orings and feeder piston spring. If both feeder piston orings and spring are in good condition, then check air passage to feeder piston chamber for obstruction. Sometimes debris will lodge in white oring where body mates to nose of gun. Good luck

I have a Stanley Bostitch finish nailer n60fn its leaking air from the trigger and housing. Is this something that I can rebuild and if so where can I get the information on how to rebuild it?

The fix it replace the trigger valve. It is a 5 minute job and seems to be a pretty common problem. Bad news is they seem to run about $30. I believe the bostitch # is TVA6

Safety B

Sounds as if you have a small Bostitch nailer/stapler. Bostitch lables its safety mech parts as Safety A for the part that actually contacts the work and Safety B for the part that contacts the trigger. Go to www.Bostitch.com and look for diagram of your gun. These two parts fit snuggly just behind the outer-most guide/nose. Safety b sits on top of safety a. There is usually a thumb adjustment and a spring between the two parts. The spring is usually installed on top of safety a and below the adjustment knob. enjoy
