Question about Garden
Turn the router upside qown ans first spray around the shaft with WD-40...
Let that soak preferably overnight...
Then place a few drops of light motor oil around the shaft right where the shaft comes out of the motor housing... with the router still in the upside down position. Then let that set for at least 12 hours to give it time to run down and into the shaft bearing and lubricate it.
This should get it running better and quieter...

If it only happens when it is moving back and forth then the rail needs to be lubricated.
open and put some wd40 on acloth and wipe the silver bar to lube.
