Turn the router upside qown ans first spray around the shaft with WD-40...
Let that soak preferably overnight...
Then place a few drops of light motor oil around the shaft right where the shaft comes out of the motor housing... with the router still in the upside down position. Then let that set for at least 12 hours to give it time to run down and into the shaft bearing and lubricate it.

This should get it running better and quieter...

My hp 2840 all in one laser jet printer squeaks when it is printing. How do I lubricate my 2840 HP laser jet printer?

Corosol technology is older, slower sounds also too high, it is not suggestible to lubricate the moving parts because of cartrides will move while printing result lot of toner particles raises in printer chamber,if this particles deposited on lubricated area will abstract the moving spares. If you can do the periodical maintenance, use silicon grease for moving parts..

My HP J6480 ADF is making a grinding noise when I try and fax or copy documents fed thru the ADF. I have tried cleaning the rollers but that hasn't worked. Any other suggestions?

You need to locate, from where sound is coming from.
Then use wd40 or silicone grease oil, and lubricate.
its probably dirt on axis bushings.

Plunge router is stuck in the router base. Porter Cabe 891 router is stuck in the plunge base. Released the buckle and won't come out. What to do? Thanks, Joe

If you are talking about the nut tap on it with a hammer, if you are talking about the tubes you can try cleaning them with air and then using some lubricating fluid to free up the piston/springs. Let me know if you need more help

It does sound as though it could be a lube issue. Use a light white grease to lube the bar the head runs on. Do not use things like WD40 or 3-in-1 as they can be damaging. Also check that any FCC cable to the moving parts are not just catching on an inner surface somewhere. This can sound like finger nails down a chalk board.
