White smoke in exhaust 1999 lincoln after replacing intake manifold

Sounds like antifreeze leaking in to me. Ports at rear of intake are trick and easy to get that gasket mis-aligned. Hate to say it but when you take the intake back off I imagine the culprit will be obvious. Only other thing is that the intake wsa fine and you actually had a blown head gasket.

My sink fills quarter the way with water when my washing machine is working, please help as i am a computer repair person not a plumber, thanks.

would seem to me that your waste pipe from your sink,or at least partly.so when the waste water is being pumped out into the waste pipe it is too much for the partly blocked pipe so it overflows bacj up the sink.try the good old plunger on the plughole, but idealy you should take your ubend apart and clean it out.you also get strong solutions for dissolving grease and the likes that you pour down the plug hole

My dishwasher is blocked and has water sitting in bottom. What is best way to clear this. Is draino ok.

Use plughole or sink unblocker in a dishwater very sparingly and ideally not at all. It contains caustic soda which can be highly dangerous if not used correctly.. Double rinse afterwards to get rid of the clorine. If the plughole unblocker doesn't do the trick get someone in fast as caustic soda when it reaches a certain temperature is highly corrosive. Clean and wash hands a few times as well.

2005 MKV Golf cannot go into reverse on its tiptronic gearbox

Find a VW mechanic, those cars are known to have weak automatic and manual transmissions. You probably need a new one. Don't cheap out and buy a used one or you'll be sorry when it doesn't last. A quality rebuilt trans should have at least a 1 year warranty.

I have started hearing a gurgling sound in my diswasher air vent when I run water in my sink. Why has this begun happening? I have an /estate dishwasher Model TUD7000Y-0

Sounds like your waste water drains could be backing up and pushing water back into the dishwasher.
Firstly try pouring Mr Muscle sink and plughole un-blocker down the sink and leave overnight next morning pour boiling water down the sink and your pipes should be squeaky clean. Hopefully this will improve the flow and prevent gurgling!

I just had this problem with a zanussi dishwasher - I opened it this afternoon to find the bottom full of water - luckily not deep enough to flood my kitchen when I opened the door. I determined that the sink drain was clear (ran water, could hear it going down the drain outside), so the problem had to be in the dishwasher or drain hose. I poured just a little mr muscle sink & plughole unblocker in the bottom of the machine where the trap is, left it about 30 mins as per instructions, followed by a little boiled water - no difference. Scooped out the water, removed the filter (the big round bit, not just the trap that you pull out and empty) and scooped out till I could see what appears to be the out pipe. Thought what the heck and ran a rinse cycle - no dishes, no detergent and lower tray and arm thing removed for convenience. Water drained just fine, ran a second rinse cycle which got rid of the suds from the plughole unblocker. I now have an extremely clean and sparkling dishwasher and am about to run a load of dishes through it.

I hope that my post is helpful to you, I don't know if all the steps are necessary, it may have been a freak occurrence that would have gone away with a simple rinse cycle. It may of course be a problem with the pump on yours, I was hoping that wasn't the case on mine, and I had lots of old towels on hand in case water came out when I opened the door. But it's possible your machine has the same problem as mine and that this info works for you, I hope that is the case.

ILO TV - How do I connect VCR/DVD???

I beleive that in the thunderstorm the HDMI port was blown. There are many reports of this happening and many people are having troubles getting it fixed. The return percentage is very high on this TV. You will need to return the TV to Walmart to have them fix the HDMI port or even ask for your money back. Hope this helps.
