On the bottom, toward the right side of the camera (as viewed from the back). There's a single cover there that opens to reveal both the battery slot and the card slot.

Have you fitted a memory card?
The camera will only take a few photos using its own memory.
It takes: SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card , SDXC Memory Cards.
If you have fitted a memory card it may be faulty and you will need to buy another.

What type and size memory card? The EX-Z50 works with MMC and SD cards. While higher-capacity SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work.

Casio exilim ex-80 always shows SD card as locked

the SD card should have a small switch on the upper left side it slides from lock to unlock if this doesnt work Look in the card slot - there may be a small bit of plastic sticking out over where the card's locking switch would fit when the card's inserted.

My camera is locking my memory card. I slide the lever on the memory card to unlocked, which is down, and when i insert it in the phone and push it down to lock it in, it pushes the 'lock' on the memory...

I have had a similar problem with flimsy lock tabs. I solved it by placing a small amount of scotch tape over the tab - starting near the connection pads, over the tab to the back edge of the card. There's usually not a whole lot of extra room in the slot, so insert carefully and remove portions of tape as needed.

Worst case scenario - if you never use the locking tab (I never do) you could place a small dab of super glue to hold it in place. Let it "set up" before reinserting - you don't want the tab to move an be held on the lock position.

Casio Exilim ex-z80 pink camera saying memory card is blocked.

If you say memory card error, I ever met this problem too but, in the digital camera canon ixus 400. The solution for this problem is disassamble the camera until you find the card memory slot. Clean the memory card slot with brush. If you think is not enough, you can use liquid like "thiner" ( I don't know thiner in english, I'm indonesianese). Don't forget also check the "kawat" (thin hard wired?) in the memory card slot. If you see the "kawat" is/are bent, you can straight it. May be sometime i will get a picture when I meet the same problem again. And, i will post at my blog. I hope is usefull for you Hayley.

Casio Exilim ex-z40 won't down load

Try reinstalling your camera drivers. You need to uninstall it first while docking station is removed. Then reinstall your camera software through the cd that comes with it then try plugging it in again either on the same usb slot or a different usb slot. Then try docking the camera again if theirs any interruptions. Usually if you transfer the docking stations usb cord plug to a different usb slot, the transfer goes haywire. Try transferring to a different usb slot...

If all else fails, get a card reader for your cameras memory card, it is way faster...

Casio Exilim won't turn on when memory card is inserted

It sound like a bent pin issue. Look at the bottom of the memory card slot, you probably bent one or more of the contactor pins. Use a small screwdriver and carefully try to straight the bent pin then carefully put the memory card back in. From now on, use a USB cable for downloading your pictures and don't pull the card out anymore as the pin is probably weaker than before and can break. Good luck !
