1992 ford f150....would not start put the odb1 code reader on it gave me a 593 code saying defroster was on turned off defroster and truck started....began to flush/backflush radiator truck was running...


Your problem does not have anything to do with code 593, the computer reset therefore allowing the truck to start. unplug your EGR valve and see if it starts up then, if so and runs normal replace your egr valve, if no change check/replace your Idle Air Control Valve.

Acer 5100 dropped about 3" to counter surface. Upon boot up I had to select repair function. Asked for recovery disc. I baught the repair disc. It ran for 3 hours then gave me this message: stop! c000021a...


What you describe is a pretty common driver error more often seen during windows installation.

However there may be help from Microsoft
