Question about Samsung SCH-A990 Cellular Phone
My phone recently went through the wash. I let it out to dry for a while, and now it will turn on and recieve calls like normal except for the fact that none of the keys work. What can I do? Is it worth it to keep the phone?
There may be a way to fix this, but this will certainly void the warranty, and should only be attempted by someone familiar with electronics. It may be possible to restore the conductive material (graphite lubricant, as I understand it) between the button and the electronics. If you can find someone who knows something about this, it might be worth a try; you can't break it much more than it already is. If you've let it dry completely and it still doesn't work, the only way to fix it is going to involve opening it up.
