Question about Dryers
Did you replace the heat control thermostat? It mounts on the blower housing. Usually next to it is the thermal fuse. The thermostat on the burner flue is a limit. has nothing to do with drum temperature. The drum temperature is judged by another similar looking t-stat as the limit but is actually shuts down at 160f and starts back at 105f. This is your control thermostat right HERE. Look for it to be mounted here on newer models
On older standard models look for it here

The ignitor is probably the problem...you see the gas valve goes on and is kept on only if the ginitor pulls X.XX amps of power.... this is a very tight tolerance and if it pulls any more or less then the allowed it will shut down...as the ignitor heats up it will often fall below this threshold and cause the gas valve to drop out....it recycles the ignitor cools and the process starts all over again...
So in short change the ignitor...
checkout this gas no heat tip....
