Hi There,

The most popular way of re-setting the driver to top dead centre is to take the nails out of the tool, find a peice of scrap timber, make sure that the air is not connected to the airline at this time then, put the tool onto the timber as though you're going to use it. Push the nose down & pull the trigger. While ayou are doing this re connect the airline to the tool. This should correct the problem.

Usually, this will happen to any make of tool. It is just a fact of life & now way is a bad mark against the brand!

Good Luck!

Changed battery on Accurist BJ3547 as hands stopped though digital signal was still OK. New battery installed, digital signal still OK but hands still don't move . A video said a reset req'd, How?

  1. The "AC "or "All Clear Circuit" button if the watch has one will be found on the back of the movement. It will usually be a small silver or gold dot marked "AC" or reset. In some cases it will be a small hole or plunger you depress with a pin punch.
  2. Clear watch memory. Look for and find the small gold or silver dot on the back of the Seiko watches movement. It will be marked "AC" if it exists. Use the metal tweezers and touch the "AC" button with one prong and the battery with the other. In some cases you just push in the plunger on the "AC" button. In the case of a plunger or hole press it with a pin punch.

Carb floods fuel to airbox

The float is not closing the plunger. reset the float flap so that it pushes the plunger up into the carb seat, When the float is at it highes point, there should be no fuel comming through. If there is reset the flap a bit, by turning it up a bit. With a pair of needle nose pliars ( be gentle). You don't what to break it from the float. (When the float is at its highesd position, you should not get anything comming out from the plunger). If you still get leakage check the plunger seat. and tip. It might be dirty or worn.

Message service apears on instrument panel

If the light says SERVICE only it is simply a servide reminder light and will go out after approx. two minutes. You should be able to reset it by removing a small black rubber plug on the face of the insturment cluster. under the plug is a small black plunger. Push down on the plunger with a pen until it clicks.

If there is no plug look for a small black button (not the odometer reset button) about 3mm in diameter. Push the plunger down and it will reset.

Hope this helps.

Locate the brake switch up above the brake pedal. Push in on plunger and check if brake lights go out. This switch can be unplugged and removed from its spot at the pedal. Then you can pull out plunger and reset it, put back in its spot, and let pedal readjust to the appropriate travel. It should automatically set to correct stroke length after pulling plunger outward to its furthest length. If this switch, or its adjustment is not to blame, post again. I will help more if needed.

Thanks, I hope this helps. TT
