I have a Remington cs1400 hair straightener that is only a couple of months old, we have lost the receipt so cannot return it. After initially starting up and then stopping mid use it now fails to heat at all. What is the most likely problem and can we get parts to fix it?

Is there a leak from the bottom ?
If so Problem, the leak is from the seam of the Manifold housing. There is a small crack in the seam. A design weakness.. A New Manifold Complete Replacement approx. $61.03.
If not you may replace the Pump Manifold Housing from Karcher, or locate a local Karcher Service Center.
If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt,Karcher will replace the entire Pressure Washer under warranty.

it is important to check the continuity of the coil as the power indicator is a neon and will show up as the power comes to the circuit. So what is required is to check if the coil or the thermostat control is defective and so does not heat.
If you can contact the Russell hobbs web site - support and post the part code of the set it will be traced to be under warranty and it is possible that you can get support for help...just in case the coil has opened.
