My saw is less then one year old. The saw will not start, it has a new spark plug fresh gas. The saw was running fine and just sputered and cut out.

You need four main things for the saw to start, good compression ( remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston through the open exhaust port, look for signs of scuffing on the piston skirt ), a spark at the plug ( remove the plug, place it ontop of the cylinder, or a good earth, crank the engine and check for a spark ), a spark at the correct time ( remove the flywheel and check the key has not sheared, check the air gap between the flywheel and the ignition unit, this should be 0.3mm ), fresh fuel at the plug ( when you remove the plug, is there signs of fuel on the plug electrode, if not there is a fuel blockage, check the fuel filter in the tank, check the fuel hoses for signs of leakage, or cracks )

It strats wount idel or reve up it ran fine till got dirt in the carb it got cleand and now this

sounds like you still have a dirty carb but.I'd change the plug. clean the air filter. check the fuel screen in the fuel tank, make sure it is fresh fuel, if none of this works I would think your carb is still dirty or out of adjustment.

Wont start

Remove the spark plug and check for spark. If snappy and blue with a fresh plug gapped at 0.020", then pour a little fuel mix into the plug hole and try for start. If it pops or runs for a few seconds, then look for fuel delivery problems. Check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other problems. If no help, remove the carburetor, disassemble and clean the interior with spray carburetor cleaner. Inspect the diaphragm in the lower chamber for flexibility with no holes or cracks. Make sure the fuel is fresh and properly mixed with a modern synthetic saw oil. Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time time just before filling the tank to prevent oil starvation. Hope this helps!

Chain saw won't start

Check the fuel filter for plugging (which is common when fuel is left in the machine over winter storage). You should run the carburetor dry after emptying the fuel tank for storage.Hope this helps!

Saw does not idle and is hard to start. It is a P3314 Poulan

You have gum in your carbeurator.
You can try a carb. cleaner that you add to the gas. I likve one called seafoam. You add one ounce per gallon of fuel.

Also, you must have a good clean spark plug, and a clean air filter. The spark, the fuel, and the air all contribute to an easy start and a good idle. If you havn't changed the spark plug lately do so, same with the air filter.

My Poulan 3500 chain saw will not start

My guess is that one of your fuel lines has a crack or small hole in it. Inspect these and replace if needed. let me know how it goes.
