SOURCE: Kohler Fairfax single control kitchen sink faucet

Remove the air-irater at the end of the faucet where the water comes out. That is where 99% of clog are on faucets. If that does not do it then you need to replace the cartridge.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

SOURCE: water leaking from bottom part of the faucet

I had a similar problem with my relatively new Forte model. I disassembled the handle, removed the retaining ring and the valve assembly. I thought at first it was the valve assembly but wasn't convinced. I continued to remove the entire faucet hub by gripping and pulling straight up. When I did, the diverter valve popped out of the back to the counter behind the sink. I cleaned all the parts up, made sure all the rings were in place, presse the diverter securely into place back in its hole, and reassembled the rest of the parts. That seemed to do the trick. I'm guessing that the diverter lost its seal and was displaced inside the hub. Hope that helps someone else.

How do you install part gp75878

You need patience/care to open up the faucet and replace the parts.

See if you can understand the diagram on page 15 of the installation guide. The link to the guide is:

Hello- I have a Kohler Fairfax single lever faucet that has suddenly become very sticky in all directions. I have removed the faucet handle and applied silicone plumbers grease to the white plastic seal....

It just needs some TLC and possibly a new valve (cartage) the link below should help.

http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/1097759_2.pdf

Disasemble the and clean. I would just get the new rebuild ket and make it like new on the inside.

FYI that kit is kind of pricy so if the faucet is not in good condition on the outside you might want to just pick a new one that you like better.

Water barely comes out hot or cold

Make sure the filter screen that is screwed to the spout is clean and in properly. If so there may be debris in the ball control valve. If the faucet has some age on it, I suggest going to Home Depot and getting a rebuild kit. The kit contains disassembly instructions and all new valve parts. Easy fix and HD is a Price dealer. Thanks

I have a B&K kitchen faucet (LM#203120) in my 2005 Newmar motor home. The spray wand has recently broken. The spray wand is approximately 6.5 inchs long and is connected to the water line by means...

If you are talking about the standard spray nozzel with trigger type control than replacement sprayers are reaidily available. You should be able to unscrew flex hose from nozzel at the base of nozzel where sprayer goes into holder on sink. There should be ribbed section on sprayer where flex hose goes in. Grip that section and turn upper section of sprayer counterclockwise to remove. Most hardware stores will have replacement nozzels for under ten dollars. Hope this helps. Thanks

Need technical diagram of single hole faucet

Not sure where to find the diagram, but what type of faucet is it and where is it leaking? It it's a single lever, remove the hot/cold indicator to uncover an allen set screw. Loosen it and remove the lever, then the outer bushing nut. Now you'll have access to the interior parts around the cartridge (make sure you turn the water off to the supply lines before proceeding further). If it's the two handle type, remove the index buttons from the top of each handle to uncover a screw with either a slotted or phillips head. Remove the screws and remove the handles. You now have access to the valves and seats. If it's a 12-year-old faucet, the o-rings and seats will probably need to be replaced and this will fix your problem. If it's a single lever type, you'll need to replace the seats and springs and it will probably solve the problem.
