HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR YOUR PRINTER
SCANNER ERROR 6
I CAME TO KNEW THAT IF GLASSES CLEANED THIS ERROR CAN BE REMOVE
BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINS. I DO MORE AT MY OWN AFTER GO THROUGH
IT BE COME IN MY MIND THAT IF WE LOOSE ALL SCREW ON COVER OF
GLASS AND GIVE A GAPE BETWEEN THE COVER AND SCANNER I TURN OFF
THE ALL IN ONE AND IN THIS POSITION AND TURNED ON. NOW THE ERROR
WAS OVER AND ALL IN ONE IN READY POSITION.
HOPE THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU TOO

Cable may not be connected correctly, try reconnecting the scanner cable. Or the scanning software is corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Did your scanner ever work?

1. Plug the 2.0 Usb to the computer but not to the printer. 2. When the setup program ask you to plug the device, do it. (the part into the printer, which is not connected according to 1.) - nothing happens- 3. Go to your control panel; printers and devices; find the printer and select controller, properties, update controller, browse and give it the location of the installing program. This must not be zipped.4. then the original installation program will tell you that the process is complete.
