You may try cleaning all Rollers including feeder roller.
To move rollers just remove ribbon , feeder and press front panel button and keep it pressed with top cover open . All Rollers will start moving and you can clean them easily using cleaning kit.
Also check for thickness adjustment pointer.

Card jam please clear printer

Hi Imran,
I realise you probably resolved this issue a long time ago, but this may help others with the same problem (Card Jam on Rio Pro / Enduro / Enduro+).
Immediately after the Card Jam - Please clear printer mechanism, there should be an error number. All card jam errors begin with 06:??. Most common would be Card Jam 06:05.
This error means that the rear card sensor has detected a card.
However, the card has not past through the sensor. This could indicate a failed card sensor (always on). This may sometimes be caused by static on the cards.
To confirm this, switch to 'Hand Feed Mode' (on the front panel: Menu -> Hand Feed Mode -> ON). Cards are then fed (when requested) from the hand-feed slot on the front of the printer. If the error changes from Card Jam 06:05, to General Error 24:08, this would suggest a faulty rear card sensor (very rare).
Try leaving the printer switched off, and with the DC power disconnected for a few hours. If the problem persists, you should contact Magicard Technical Support.

With Best Regards,

MC.

Paper jamming

You have almost certainly got a foreign object in the paper feed path as there is nothing on the L/H side that should cause an obstruction. First of all turn the printer off & disconnect all cables. Turn the printer upside down and give a good shake, with luck the blockage should fall out. If not then you need to be a bit brave, make sure the print carriage is parked fully right and out of the way. You will need an A4 (approx) sized piece of stiff cardboard such as the backing from an A4 note pad. Insert this into the paper feed locating it between the feed rollers on the R/H side. Then push quite firmly to overcome the spring pressure, when you feel it push through about a half inch stop and open the printer to see what is being pushed through. Push the card fully through and retrieve the foreign object (I have found everything from paperclips, curtain hooks and even a golf tee!). Push the card through fully and out of the printer. Always remove paper jams etc, in the direction of the paper feed whenever possible as pulling anything backwards can dislodge or break the sensor flags.
Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

Epson stylus color 880 printer has a paper jam. It printed color in area with no paper, so to get ink out, I fed in a paper towel. Now the towel is stuck and torn remnants cannot be reached from above. ...

OK this takes a bit of technique and bravery. You need a stiff piece of card such as the backing from an A4 notepad or similar. Turn the printer off and insert the card into the paper feed. You will need to align it with the pick-up roller and push it through quite hard to overcome the spring pressure. It will push out the bits of towel so open the cover and fish them out. Feed the card all the way through and out of the cover. Always try to remove paper jams in the direction of paper feed.

Hope this helps, please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

Paper not feeding

This could be caused by several parts, the most likely is the paper eject sensor lever & spring being out of position. Get a stiff piece of A4 card such as the backing from a note pad. Make sure the print head is in the parked position (fully right). Position card in the feed hopper and push through the feed mech. Open the top and watch for the card to come through the printer. This should realign the lever and also clear any obstructions in the paper path. Always try to remove paper jams in the direction of the paper feed, pulling backwards can damage levers etc.

Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

Rec paper jam message.

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavypaper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the printbutton applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so itwill feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases Ihave been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited thereover time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers thisway, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Check to see if something isn't blocking the paper path.

You could try cleaning the feed rollers as well.

Hi! I have the same issue. The only solution I still use: select print from document with no paper in the hp's feeder. Let the printer go on "paper out" message, now put the paper into the feeder and press the print button on the printer. Success!
