Well im in safe mode on my computer, will my webcam work?

Press and hold the power button for 5-8 seconds to turn it off.
Once it's off, turn on the computer and tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight safe mode with networking and hit enter.
If you can get inside safe mode without any problem, then connect to the internet in safe mode with networking and install RadarSync. Scan your computer using the software so that you will know which drivers are outdated.
It might also caused by a virus infection, so I suggest that you also run an anti-virus scan.

The last option if everything fails is to reinstall the operating system.

The RAM maybe faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you.

Try running the program in compatibility mode for an older version of windows such as vista or xp. If it still causes the usb problems it may have to do with outdated usb drivers. Try running the program in safe mode and see if that works.

If it will only work in safe mode and your usb drivers cant be changed, then you should just buy a new webcam for install a generic webcam driver for it.

You can tried to up date the driver. If you go to dell.com you can find the driver and download. If not you need to replace the touchpad.

HI there run the system in safe mode by pressing F8 key. When the system is ready in safe mode with all icons then run your cam driver for installing. If its done then well otherwise let me know. I am waiting for your reply.

After Change of vista to xp. Need to install the webcam software.

To detect the webcam

Right on My computer - Select Manage - Device manager - select the imaging devices for the webcam devices.

If does not shows go to View and select show hidden devices

If it is not showing in the devices manager

Shut down the notebook. Power on as soon power on the notebook keep tap on F8 to access the Advance startup options - select the Safe mode press enter

Check for the webcam device if doesn't show in this mode may need to Flash the BIOS.
