SOURCE: lint fell back into lint trap. how can i get it out? already looked in back.

An appliance store can sell you a brush that is attached to a long wire. It is made specifically for removing lint from dryers. I have seen them at walmart and other places but for sure at an appliance store. Good luck.

SOURCE: Lint is not going into pull out lint trap. The lint screen is torn and lint is collecting behind trap.

Poor air flow would be my guess. How long is the vent hose? Does it have more than one angle/turn before venting outside? Is the lint gathering around the outer edges of the door? Keeping the length of air travel shorter will improve the operation.

SOURCE: Lint fell off trap and down into dryer chute.

for the most if you want to clean it it will take you a while, depending on your model, disconect the unit from the power outlet first, from the back panel remove about 6- to 8 screws an then you will see the inside back panel expose to be vacumm, you'll see the back panel of the shoot that runs behind the dryer, take the i think 4-5 screws an vacumm it, i dont think is going to hurt your machine if a little fell in there, a quick way is try to remove the exhaust tube off the back an insert the vacumm cleaner, to clean the tube going out of the house you can use a strong shopvac, to **** it in or a leaf blower to push it out ...........good luck!

SOURCE: F @ P DEGX2 lint trap problem

If you are collecting more on the outside of the house means the lint filter has a tear in it and the lint in being pulled through the tear and pushed out the exhaust. It sounds like you need a new filter but this isn't cheap. If you do it your self it will run about $70 if you get a repair man it will cost about $150.

WHY IS THE CONDENSED WATER NOT COLLECTING IN THE WATER TANK

I am assuming you do not have a vent to the outside and you are using one of those little boxes/lint trap devices? You shouldn't be getting water coming out but it is natural to have high humidity hot air coming out (the water has to go somewhere). If you are using one of those traps, I would make sure it is at, or lower than the level of where the hose comes out of the dryer (allowing any moisture to come out and not be trapped in the hose in a low spot).

Forgot to put the lint trap back into LG Ventless Dryer DLEC855W. Clothing might have gotten stuck inside. Dryer now making grinding noise and drum is moving slowly. Is it time to call a repairman?

The filter simply allows the dryer air to pass through and trap the lint so it will not collect in the exit tube or on the outer vent parts. If anything, the clothes inside the bin will just spin around and be there when you finish. The noise inside the dryer could be from something that was in the pant or shirt pocket and was floating around.

My dryer is leaking water

When your dryer spins to dry, water will start to collect at the vent, vent hose and lint trap areas. Make sure to fully remove the vent hose and lint trap and clean both of them out fully you may have to purchase a new vent hose. Make sure you secure both of these parts in after cleaning this should fix the leaking problem along with keeping your house firesafe

Hair/Lint collecting on the Baffles of the dryer

I once heard you can periodically spray "Spray Starch" on the baffles themselves to alleviate lint and hair buildup. If you can prevent the unwanted particles from building up on the baffles theoretically they should be trapped in the dryer's lint collector.

Is it possible that the automatic sensor can fail on a dryer.

hi, Sounds like everything mechanical and electrical is working. The sensors are located on the outbound air ducts. You may be able to improve things significantly by removing the dryer vent where it attaches to the rear (or side) of the machine, and cleaning the tube going into the machine. While you have it removed from the vent, remove the lint trap, use your vacuum crevice tool and clean the trap area. If you have the ability to blow air through the trap area, blow it through the crevice tool so that you are as far beyond the screen area as possible. Be warned that it may blow dust and lint from the vent, covering it with a piece of nylon stocking will catch most of it. The object of this whole exercise is, the exhaust air ducts collect dust and lint which collect moisture from the damp items, the sensor reacts to this so cleaning out as much of it as you can will help. Good Luck to You!
