Question about Samson Airline 77 Aerobics Wireless Headset System FREQUENCY / 801.375 Microphone

1 Answer

Our gym mic stopped working. I think it's because the wires are stripped. Others think it is because the FCC sold a frequency. Where can we get it repaired?

It's not because of the FCC. Call Samson. They can help you troubleshoot the problem.

I have 2 sm58 radio mics these are very old when i switch off the mic handset it gives an ear spiltting spiltting sound like consant interference can any one help

Sounds like your wireless transmitters (mic) and receivers have drifted from their original factory set frequency. Also, older units may fall into the "illegal " 700Mhz frequency band and should not be used...

I need the frequencies for this radio

Here's a list: Frequency Chart

Keep in mind - only those frequencies in "D" can be transmitted on in the US. These are the Citizen's Band (or C.B.) Radio frequencies. The others are above and below the FCC allotted range for CB. Transmitting on these other frequencies requires an FCC issued license.

You can face fines, imprisonment or both if caught transmitting without the proper license.

I have a Midland CB Car with no mike or a car power pluge, the model # is 70 - 336B and the serial # is 760408

Your midland CB will use a standard 4 pin wired CB plug which is most common for most mics sold today. Your power cord will be a standard 3 pin CB power cord which again is most common with CB's today. You need not purchase a "radio specific" cord or mic. Cobra, Uniden, Midland all the same mic pin out and power cords. Good luck.

Which mics are outlawed by the fcc

Certain radio mic frequencies have been reallocated for mobile phone usage world-wide
predominantly these affect Channel 69 (854 to 862MHz). These are mainly the paid for licence frequencies. the free licence frequencies outside this band are unaffected.
Most other frequencies are not affected

I purchased 6 receivers of this model, I need to get the mics...Even if I got them, is it posible for them to work, in other other words Can I adjust them to the receivers' frequencies? And if so, would...

Normally the mics and receivers are sold as a unit but replacement mics can be bought separately.
However the ATW-R11 has been discontinued so may now be hard to find.

This model has 20 available frequencies so you should be able to change frequencies okay.
NOTE - you will require a license for these frequencies

My yamaha did not come with the optomizer mic

You can, and the results might be better than not optimizing, but they might be worse.
The optimizing process listens for resonant frequencies in the room (what pitch "rings" longer in your room) as well as damped frequencies (what pitch sounds "dead" in your room)
To do this, it needs a mic that's matched to the unit.

Different mics have different frequency response curves, so your friend's mic might think (for example) that 2500hz is really hot, but the yamaha mic would think it's normal.

Certainly won't hurt to try, but if you don't like the way things sound after optimizing, then just reset your yamaha to the default EQ.

How to tell frequency on FRS-70

Channel A is FRS channel 8, at 467.5625MHz.
Channel B is FRS channel 13, at 467.6875MHz.

If you ever have another question like this one, search by FCC ID # at http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/Welcome.html .

G1 laptop - display and mic problem

OK ya have a bad connection problem, I think the wires that go between the case and screen may be damaged or loose? in any event ya gonna haveta take it to a repair shop :( The Mic problem MAY be inter-related.. however until ya fix the screen this is a moot point, no? The Mic problem is probably just an incompatibility problem... not aLL mic's work on all pc's even when they work on others.. Oh say try a USB mic they are great.
