I wonder if Adroid has some issues with its A2DP stack. You see, I have 3 different stereo headsets paired with my WM6.1 phone, and all of them (one at a time, of course) stream music without any flaws.
Anyway, you could try to delete the Backbeat from the list of paired devices on your phone, and, then, pair them again.
Just my 2 cents...
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Regards, Carlos

My headset just stopped playin sound???

If the stereo earphone output socket is in tact (not broken), most likely the problem maybe the Earphone-cord is broken.

All working just won't pause or play with the button

To use this feature on the 903+ you must only tap it one time, on the music icon. If this still does not work I would get a replacement for the product from the vendor whom you purchased this through. See the link below for more help.

When i listen to my music from my phone with my backbeat 903, the music skips like a sratched cd. why is this?

Here are a few things you can try to see if they will improve the quality of the sound:

You should always make sure that your mobile phone is located on the left side of your body and that there are no obstructions between it and your headphones.

Also make sure that your headphones are within 33 feet (10 meters) of your mobile phone. Going outside of this range can impact audio quality.

You can also try resetting the headsets and see if that will help.
While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

How to install the headset to my EVO 4g

To pair the Plantronics BackBeat 903 with an EVO 4G:

On the 903 headset:
With the headset powered off, press and hold the "Power/Pairing" button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This will put the 903 headset into pairing mode.

Use the iPod Touch menu to search for the headset and select 9xxBackBeat.

(If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey. Some devices also require you to accept the connection. Headset is paired when LED flashes blue.)

On the EVO 4G:

Turn the Bluetooth on from the Home screen, tap Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth.

Pair the EVO 4G by going to the Home screen, press Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth Settings, Scan for Devices. Follow the on screen prompts to pair the devices.

I go to set up my wireless headset with my playstation 3 but it won't pick up any devices.

You must put both the PS3 and the Backbeat into pairing mode. See your instruction manual for the PS3 for pairing. Once you have both devices searching for each other they should pair right up.

Instructions for putting the Backbeat 903 in pairing mode:

With the headphones powered off, press and hold the Power/Pairing button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red.
Use the PS3's menu to search for the Bluetooth headphones and select 9xxBackBeat.
If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey.

My headset keeps cutting over to "voice control"

I would suggest resetting the headset and see if that will take care of the problem. Here are the reset instructions: While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button.
The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

I have my backbeat 903 synced to my ps3 and phone how do i switch to my phone when i leave the house and back to the ps3 when i want to use it in gaming

If you have the BackBeat 903 synced (or paired) to both devices, you should be able to toggle between the two seamlessly. The multipoint technology that Plantronics uses to pair its headsets to two devices at once works on a first ring basis. When you're out and about with your phone, the headset will respond only to it (33' bluetooth range for one thing). When you're paired to and having fun on your PS3, if your phone rings, you make the choice to keep playing or answer the phone. You're always in control, one doesn't override the other.
