The F100 works with MMC and SD cards. It will not work with SDHC cards. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

The P880 works with MMC and SD cards. Your new 4GB card is an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. The camera is limited to working with cards 2GB and smaller.

I just purchased a 4GB SanDisk Extreme lll CompactFlash for my camers but when I try to use it I get the Unable to use card message. What can I do?

I suspect 2GB is the maximum the camera will take. A 2GB Sandisk card works in my 7i. When the DiMAGE 7i was launched, 256mB was about as big as CF cards got!

Have a Kodak EasyShare C743, bought a SanDisk, won't format

Your camera was designed before the SDHC format came out. Sorry, your camera can only use standard SD cards, those usually 2GB or less. An SDHC card will not be recognized properly by your camera. If you really want to use a 4GB card, do a Google search for SD and "non hc", with the non hc in quotes. Believe that Transcend makes one.

SanDisk Extreme III 4GB, unable to retrieve the 500 images on it.

SanDisk Extreme cards are supposed to ship with RecoveryPro software which should help you get the photos back. If the software is not on your card you may be able to get it from their website or another SanDisk card.

SanDisk ImageMate 12in1 cannot read SCHC 4GB or higher cards

Correct!!!! This card reader cannot address cards that are higher then 3gig and cannot read sdhc cards. Most older readers will not be able to read the HC type card, and by older I mean if its 6 months old or more. To read these cards you need to purchase a new card reader. I know, My camera uses 4gig cards and I was unable to access the pics until I bought a new reader..
